Employee App: Registration

Things to keep in mind when registering for the Employee App.

The easiest way to go about registering is for the employee to use the email address the employer has for them in their POS.

The employer can send them an invite through: Settings > Users > Employee App Users > Send Direct Invite > Search Employees> Send Registration Link

They can also register at the My TipHaus website or scan the QR Code in the following document: Employee Welcome to TipHaus!.pdf

If the employee cannot register, they should check with their manager to confirm the email they are trying to register with was input correctly on the POS.

If the employee wishes to use a different email address than the one on the employer’s POS, a manager will need to send out an invite through the client dashboard with the email address provided by the employee. That can be done through:

Settings > Users > Employee App Users > Send Direct Invite > Search Employees > Insert Email > Send Registration Link (see image above)

If an employee has worked for another organization that uses TipHaus and is not able to register, the employee can:

  1. Use a different email address to register for the Employee App.

  2. Reach out to TipHaus Support, so that we can delete the employee’s email address on their previous employer’s POS from our end.


If the employee has more than one job in different organizations that use TipHaus, the employee must use a different email address for each respective account.

If the employee works at more than one location in the same organization, they can use the Location dropdown menu in the same account, to access the location data they wish to view. Be sure the employee is active in each location’s POS. Otherwise, that location’s data will not be available for them to view in the Employee App.
