To duplicate a rule, be sure you are in the location for which you are building the rules, then click on the three vertical dots to the right of a Tip-Sharing Rule on the Tip Distribution Page.

In the example above, I created the Tip-Sharing Rule “Server to Bartender.” The next rule I am going to build is “Server to Expo.” It’s almost identical, except for a couple of things that need to be changed. So, duplicating the rule will allow me to get it done faster. When I click on “Duplicate,” it will open the exact same rule that I can edit.

From here, I can edit the name to “Server to Expo” and then click “Percentage Shared”.

Here I can change the percentage number for the new rule and click “Collect From”.

Because the “Server” job code is already in place, I can just click “Distribute To”, to proceed.

Finally, I can remove the “Bartender” job code and add the “Expo” job code and click “Submit”.

On the above display window, just confirm your changes and click “Submit” to establish the new rule.

And now you have created a rule very similar to the one below, in a more efficient manner.
