Tip Sharing Rules
Tip Sharing Rules allow you to distribute a percentage of tips from one job code to another.
For example, a rule might distribute 3% of tips from Servers to Cooks.
Works best for rewarding Job Codes that assisted a tip-earner.
To set up a Tip Sharing Rule, head to the “Tip Distribution” page on the left-hand tab in your dashboard:
Once there, hit the “Create” blue button on the right and follow the prompts. You can set everything from the schedule, the percentage shared, which job codes the tips will be collected from, and who they will be distributed to.
