The Breakdown Page centralizes your tip distribution data, offering detailed insights into shared tips and take-home pay for each employee. It syncs with your Point-of-Sale (POS) system, automatically pulling and updating distribution data consistently
Navigating the Breakdown Page
To access the Breakdown:
Find the Breakdown Page in the left-hand navigation menu of your dashboard. Once opened, you’ll see an overview of tip distributions by the employee.
Filters and Customization
Use the Quick Filters to switch between the current and previous pay periods or set a custom date range. You can only visualize data in a 30-day span.
Adjust the “Showing” Dropdown to view all employees or filter for only individuals who receive tips.
Click the “See Detailed View” icon to display more granular information, such as Tip Pool Net and Tip Share-Net columns. These sections provide insights into specific allocation methods and calculations applied.
You will see the “Rules Processing” indicator every time TipHaus calculates the breakdown after receiving new data from your POS or after you make any changes or adjustments.
⚠️ TipHaus, based on your POS system, calculates tips during its daily sync, which typically occurs around 5 AM. ⚠️
