The Home Page is your central hub for managing and monitoring your organization’s tip health. With customizable metrics, interactive tools, and quick access to key features, it provides a comprehensive overview tailored to your needs.

Navigating the Dashboard

To access the Home Page:

  • Click on “Home” (A) in the left-side panel.

  • Alternatively, click the Tiphaus Logo (B).

  • Switch between your locations using the dropdown at the top bar (C).

Managing Metrics:

To manage the metrics displayed on your Home page, use the dropdown to view and select from our available metrics. Once selected, the metric will appear on the Home page and you can remove it by clicking the "x" icon next to each one.

You can also apply a date range to the displayed metrics using the dropdown menu next to the metrics list. To change how metrics are displayed, click the pie chart icon at the top right corner. You can switch between table, pie chart, or bar chart views. Click the gray cloud icon with a downward arrow to export data.

⚠️ Any metric with “Take Home” in the title will display data that has been transformed by TipHaus' calculations. All other metrics display raw data received from your Point-of-Sale or Time Tracking software.

Performance Metrics:

Performance Metrics give you clear insights into tip distribution and employee earnings, helping you make informed, data-driven decisions for your organization.

To have more information about a specific metric hover over the “i” symbol.

Some examples of how your organization could use the available metrics include:

  • Take-home per hour by job code: This metric provides insights into tip earnings by role, helping to identify disparities and refine compensation strategies. And help you decide when to adjust the tipping policy to boost hiring and retention.
This data is also used to enhance job postings by specifying tip expectations and to set clear compensation expectations for new hires during onboarding.

  • Tip percentage: This metric highlights individual performance, offering managers actionable insights. It helps identify staff with lower tip averages over a period, prompting discussions to understand potential issues and drive improvement.

  • Take-home pay: This metric represents the net tip earnings owed to staff after all calculations and distributions. This feature provides employees with a clear view of their final earnings, fostering transparency and trust. Additionally, it equips managers with an oversight tool to ensure tip distribution aligns with company policies and regulations.
