HausDirect™: Need to Update Your Card on File?

HausDirect payout failed? Check card status, bank, and relink card on TipHaus.

When a HausDirect payout fails, it is generally due to an issue with the linked card.

This could be an expired card, a card marked frozen/lost/stolen, an issue with your bank blocking the transaction, or an issue with the card details provided.

We recommend reaching out to your bank to make sure your card is active and enabled, and to see if they blocked or flagged the transaction.

We recommend relinking or updating the card from my.tiphaus.com by clicking the pencil icon next to "Card on File Ending In" to make sure everything is connected correctly.

⚠️ Once you have added the updated card info, please refresh the screen.

You should see the last four digits of your card number next to the pencil icon.


I updated my card. How do I receive my deposit now?

Once you've updated your card on file, you don’t need to take any further action. Your tips will be deposited into your new card once your employer initiates the next payout.

If you were expecting a payout today and it hasn’t arrived, it may be because your employer has not yet re-initiated it. In that case, we recommend:

  • Contact your employer or manager directly to confirm when the next payout will be processed.

  • Or simply waiting for the next payout cycle—your updated card will receive the funds automatically once it’s sent.


Do I need to use the HausMoney App to manage HausDirect?

No, you do not need to use the HausMoney app to manage your linked card with HausDirect. Instead, use the TipHaus Employee App available at my.tiphaus.com for managing your HausDirect-linked card.

I updated my HausDirect card, but it says Pending Manager Approval

If your HausDirect registration shows "pending manager approval," contact your manager and request that they approve your account in their dashboard. Once approved.

What cards work with HausDirect?

You must use a debit card to link your card with HausDirect. HausDirect does not work with cards issued by the Discover, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal
