This guide outlines the two processes for resetting a password for the TipHaus Employee App. You can use these instructions to assist your employees if they have trouble accessing their account.
Option 1: For Employees Who Have Forgotten Their Password
If an employee cannot remember their password and is logged out, they should follow these steps.
Instruct the employee to go to my.tiphaus.com/login.
They must click the "Forgot Password" link below the "Login" button.
The employee will need to enter the email address that is registered to their account.
Advise them to check their inbox for an email from alerts@tiphaus.com (subject: "Reset Password Notification"). They should also check their spam folder.
The employee must open the email and click the "Reset Password" button.
This link will take them to a page where they can set a new password.
They will be required to enter the new password a second time to confirm the change.
After these steps, the employee's password will be reset, and they should be able to log in.
Option 2: For Employees Who Want to Change a Known Password
If an employee is already logged in and simply wants to change their current password, they can do so from their profile.
The employee needs to log into the Employee App and go to the Profile tab.
They should then tap the "Change Password" button.
On the next screen, they will enter their email address and tap "Send Password Reset Link."
From here, the process is the same as above: they will receive the password reset email from alerts@tiphaus.com, click the link, and set a new password.
This will successfully update their password on file.
