Employee App: How Employees Can Opt Out of Earned Tip Access

If an employee prefers to receive their tips on a paycheck from you instead of through Earned Tip Access, they can opt out of the program at any time. This guide outlines the process they follow. Please note that employees can also use these same steps to opt back in if they change their mind.

The Opt-Out Process for Employees

  1. To begin, the employee must log into their TipHaus Employee App and navigate to the My Profile tab.

  2. From their profile, they will click the 'Earned Tip Access Status' button.

  3. The employee will then click the toggle switch located to the right of "Participating in ETA."

  4. A pop-up message will appear asking them to confirm they want to opt-out. The employee must click 'Confirm' to proceed.

  5. Once confirmed, the employee will see that the toggle has been switched off.

  6. If the employee returns to the Earned Tip Access tab, their status will be displayed as "Opted Out" at the top of the screen.
