The Earned Tip Access™ is a program that allows you to distribute tips directly to your employees. This guide outlines the options available to your employees and the role you play in the verification process.
Employee Payout Methods
Employees can choose one of two digital payout methods, or they can continue to receive tips on their paycheck. Employees who enroll in one digital method can later sign up for the second and switch between them.

The Employee Sign-Up and Manager Verification Process
Your action is required to complete an employee's enrollment in a payout service.
Employee Action: The employee signs up by logging into their Employee App, navigating to the Earned Tip Access™ tab, and selecting a service. They will then complete the registration process via an email link.
Manager Action: After an employee submits their registration, their status will appear as "Pending Manager Verification." To verify an employee's sign-up, navigate to the Earned Tip Access page on your TipHaus dashboard and click on the "Completed Sign-Up" alert.
Select the eligibility start date, which will affect the pay period during which the employee can be paid tips through the Earned Tip Access program.
Employee Payout Method Switching
Adding a Second Service: When an employee who is already enrolled in one service signs up for a second, they will be automatically switched to that new service as soon as you approve the transfer.
First, the employee logs into their TipHaus Employee App and navigates to the Earned Tip Access™ tab.
They initiate the sign-up process for the second service they have not yet enrolled in (either HausDirect or HausMoney).
A pop-up message will appear, notifying the employee that their payout method will be switched to this new service automatically as soon as their manager approves the transfer.
Your action is required at this stage. You must approve the employee's request for the new service. Once you approve it, the switch is completed automatically.
Switching Between Services: Once an employee is approved for both HausDirect and HausMoney, they can switch between them at any time in the app by selecting a method and clicking 'Update Payout Method'.
The employee logs into their Employee App and goes to the Earned Tip Access™ tab. Click on 'Update Payout Method'
They will see both payout methods listed as available.
The employee selects the method they wish to use and clicks the 'Update' button. The change takes effect immediately for their next payout.
