Pay Periods

  • You can select from the Current Pay Period, the Previous 2 Pay Periods, or the Last Day Worked.

Take Home

  • This amount reflects the total tips owed to you for the selected Pay Period. (Note: This amount may change based on refunds and shift adjustments processed before the end of your Pay Period.)

  • You may see a box next to your Take Home with Today's Tips. Please note these earnings are not calculated into your Breakdown totals until the following business day.

Breakdown

  • This section breaks down your tip distribution, giving you full transparency into where your tips are coming from and going to!

    • Total Tips

      • This displays the total tips you brought in for the selected date range broken down by the method they were received.

    • Net Distribution

      • This is your net total received from Tip Pools + Tip Sharing Rules after your contributions to them.

    • Take Home

      • This is the combined total of your Tips Received + Net Distribution

Tip Pool

  • Pool Deposit

    • This is the amount you contributed to the Tip Pool according to your organization's rules.

  • Pool Withdraw

    • This is the amount you received from the Tip Pool according to your organization's rules.

Tip Share

  • Sent

    • This is the amount you contributed to Tip Sharing according to your organization's rules.

  • Received

    • This is the amount you received from Tip Sharing according to your organization's rules.

  • You can click Sent or Received to see a breakdown of what job codes tips were sent to for the selected date range.

Additional Calculations

  • CC Tip Fee

    • This is a charge mandated by credit card processing companies to cover their costs for processing electronic payments. This amount is not collected by TipHaus and is paid directly to their credit card processing partner by your restaurant.

  • Peer to Peer

    • This is the sum of your P2P transfers to and from colleagues within the Employee App.

Summary

  • This section summarizes several metrics for the selected date range.

    • Time Worked

      • This is your total number of hours worked for the selected date range.

    • Total Sales

      • This is your total amount of sales for the selected date range.

    • Tips Received

      • This is the total amount of tips you brought in for the selected date range.

    • Tip Percentage

      • This is the percentage of tips you brought in compared to your sales.

    • Take Home

      • This is the combined total of your Tips Received + Net Distribution

    • Tips per Hour

      • This is your Tips Received/Time Worked

    • Take Home per Hour

      • This is your Take Home/Time Worked
