To help your employees access their tip information more easily, you can guide them on how to add a shortcut to the TipHaus web app directly on their phone's home screen. This guide provides the instructions you can share with them for various devices.
⚠️ Crucial Clarification: Please let your employees know that the TipHaus Employee App (for viewing tips at my.tiphaus.com) is a separate application from the HausMoney App (for the HausMoney charge card). This distinction is important to prevent confusion.
Instructions for Android Users
If they use Chrome: Instruct the employee to open Chrome, go to
my.tiphaus.com/login
, tap the menu (3 dots), and select Add to Home screen.If they use Firefox: Instruct the employee to open Firefox, go to
my.tiphaus.com/login
, tap the menu (3 dots), select Page, and then Add to Home Screen.
After confirming, they can name the shortcut and move the icon on their screen.
Instructions for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch Users
Advise your employees that this feature only works in the Safari browser on Apple devices.
The employee must open Safari and navigate to
https://my.tiphaus.com/login
.They will need to tap the Share button (a square with an upward-pointing arrow). On an iPhone, it's at the bottom of the screen; on an iPad, it's in the top-left corner.
From the menu that appears, they should select Add to Home Screen.
Finally, they will be prompted to name the shortcut, which will then appear on their home screen.
Instructions for Windows Tablets and Phones
For employees with Windows devices, the process uses the Microsoft Edge browser.
The employee should open Edge and go to

.They will need to tap the menu button (3 dots at the bottom of the screen).
From there, they should scroll down and select Pin to screen, then confirm the name.
Instructions for Other Devices
If an employee's device is not listed, you can advise them that most modern browsers have this capability. They should look in their browser's menu for an option named "Pin to home screen," "Add to home screen," or a similar phrase.
