Employee App: Profile and Settings

The Employee App allows you to update your password, PIN for peer-to-peer transactions, and view your company's tip-distribution rules.

The 'My Profile' section of the TipHaus Mobile Employee App allows you to perform several key actions:

  • Change your password for logging into the app.

  • Update your PIN code for the Peer-to-Peer functionality.

  • Contact TipHaus support for assistance.

  • View your organization's established tip-distribution rules.

  • Update your debit card linked to HausDirect.


Profile Information

In this section, you will find your name and email address, along with options to change your password and update your PIN for peer-to-peer transfers.


Changing Your Password For the Employee App

To change your password for the Employee App, please follow these steps:

  1. To change your password, log in to the Employee App and click the My Profile tab at the bottom.

  2. Select the 'Change Password' option.

  3. Enter the email address associated with your account and click the button to send a reset link.

  4. Once you receive the email, click on Reset Password and follow the instructions to create your new password.


Updating Your Pincode

  • To update your P2P PIN, log in to the Employee App and click the My Profile tab at the bottom.

  • Click the 'Update Pincode' button.

  • Enter your new PIN and password and click the 'Update my Pincode' button.

  • You'll receive a pop-up notifying you that your PIN was successfully updated.


Contact Us

If you ever need to contact us, you can use our form directly in the Employee App.

  • Log in and click the My Profile tab at the bottom.

  • Click the 'Contact Us' button under Resources.

  • Select a Category from the drop-down menu.

  • Fill in the Comment section with your questions or feedback.

    • This information will go directly to our Customer Success team, who will follow up via email.


Tip Distribution Settings

These are your organization's tip rules, which determine how your tips are distributed based on your clock-in information. Tip Distribution Settings are broken into Tip Pools and Tip Sharing Rules:

  • Tip Pools describe how tips are split within a group of employees working the same job code.

  • Tip Sharing Rules describe how a percentage of tips is shared from one job code to another.

  • Here you'll see a list of all the Tip Pools and Tip Sharing rules your organization uses.

  • You can click the arrow to the right of any rule for more information.
