Whether for one or multiple restaurants, within TipHaus you have the ability to export your reports as a CSV file from the Breakdown page to fulfill your payroll needs.

Exporting Your Data from a Single Location

First, have your location selected along with the correct pay period filtered.

Then, click Export. Here you'll choose which report you would like.

TipHaus automatically creates a CSV file of your Breakdown. However, you can contact our support team to create a customized report with your choice of fields through the chat function (in the bottom right corner of your account) or by sending an email to support@tiphaus.com.

A. Grouping your rows by Employee will have a row for each employee at the location.

B. Grouping your rows by Employee and Job Code will provide a row for each employee and a separate row for each Job Code they've clocked in as during the selected pay period.

C. Grouping your rows by Employee, Job Code & Date will have a separate row for each employee, each Job Code they've clocked in as, and a row for every single date the employee worked.

Last, click Export and your CSV file downloads directly onto your computer.

Exporting Your Data from Multiple Locations

To export your data across multiple locations, you must first have Org Admin access to the account.

Next, have All Locations selected for the correct filtered pay period.

Then, click Export. From here you have the same fields to format your spreadsheet for a single location with the Location Name column specifying which location the data is being pulled from.

There is an additional format called Employee Payroll ID. This will allow you to efficiently group employees across locations with the same payroll ID into a single row.

Above you'll see that once exported, each employee will be in your CSV file regardless of how many locations they may work at within your organization.

If an employee has the same Payroll ID inside of TipHaus across locations they work at, their data will be consolidated into one row.

Meda Beahan in the above screenshot works at 3 locations, but their one row includes all locations they worked at.
